It was the day, the day when I was travelling to the moon. I had already built my rocket it was fantastic, fantastic because it was an eco rocket. Here I am about to risk everything. I sat in my rocket- I heard 5 4 3 2 1. Suddenly I was pushing through the earth’s atmosphere. I didn’t think I was going to make it. I thought, why was I doing this? I could see the moon from here but all of a sudden I started to fall. What was happening? I didn’t know what to do?

Hi Aimee – this is a really good piece you’ve written for this week’s 100WC. I like how you’ve repeated some words to engage the reader and also how you’ve used some questions and have left it on a cliff hanger so the reader wants to know more. Well done 🙂
I like your interpretation of the prompt as pushing through the “atmosphere.” Your story could use a little more action and description to make it more exciting, but it is very well done. Keep up the good work Aimee.
